  • Other Live Hazard Collective founded with artist Valerie Pezeron in 2012. The collective explores the interdisciplinary links between drawing and sonic performance, and has organised a number of large-scale events in the UK, including Rich Mix, ELCAF 2015, University of East London, ICA. The collective’s work also includes workshops with the general public and diverse communities
  • Performance Two Caravans (2010/13) – chamber opera based on the best-selling novel by Marina Lewycka. Produced by Kameroperahuis (NL) and Opera Up Close (UK). The opera won the Flourish Opera prize and was presented at King’s Head Theatre in Autumn 2013.
  • Choreography creation of piece for the MACRO museum in Rome with students of the Il Cantiere Infinito April 2019

  • Composed and performed (electronics and flute) in the multi-media chamber opera Jasser (2006/07) which toured throughout the Netherlands. (jasserdeopera.nl)

 

  • Created, performed and directed three large-scale multimedia projects:
    • Infantry (2001-2003) in collaboration with Meira Asher – toured around Europe. CD released commercially on the label Sub Rosa (BE).
    • Stereo Dogs (2002) – for which he also created the video part. Performed in the Netherlands.
    • Imaginary Friends (2007-2008) an ‘impropera’ including electronics, live drawing, free impro and theatre

 

  • Compositions commissioned and performed by various established ensembles: LOOS (NL), SOIL (NL), The Tate Ensemble (UK), Vocal Lab (NL), The Roentgen Connection (NL). Commissioned by: GeNeCo (association of Dutch composers), Foundation for Performing Arts (NL), BBC Radio 3 / Bath Festival, Gaudeamus (NL), Prins Bernhard Foundation (NL)

 

  • A member of Luc Houtkamp’s POW computer ensemble, participating in the projects: The 13-bar Blues (2002-2004), Electric Maqamat (2004), TeamingUp (2004), Masnavi Molavi (2005-2006), Songs, Dances and Riddles (2005), An Homage To Hazard (2007), Strange Attractors (2009) and BoxOfBrix (2010)

 

  • Work as singer-songwriter in combination with live-electronics, in the solo project Hatch (2004-2012)
