Abstract
This introduction will provide an overview of my research. This thesis represents a creative practice (writing & somatic-based dance and ritual making), which is a journey to unfold, to understand, the emergent practice by blurring and crossing the borders around the terrain of identity politics, phenomenology and spirituality. Reflecting on the experience of teaching and dancing with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disability(PMLD), a journey of investigating my own “disability” as a major source of my creative practice.
